About Burton UK
Burtons has a long and illustrious history, and it all began way back in 1903 in Chesterfield, when Montague Burton loaned 100 pounds from a cross-tailoring company to set up his own business. He wanted to create smart, tailored looks for men at a lesser price tag, making fashion affordable for all. For his efforts, Montague Burton was knighted in 1931.
By 1929 there were more than 400 Burton stores on the High Streets of the UK, and the company helps to dress soldiers during World War II. From there, Burtons became the dresser of choice for various events, and even dressed the England national football team during the 2000 and 2002 international championships.
These days you can shop online or in store at Burtons and you will find a huge range of menswear items, including shoes, leisurewear, suits, formalwear accessories, and everything in-between. There are regular sales and the company is known for its high level of customer service.
How to Contact Burton UK & Useful Information
The Burton website is very well put together, so you’re likely to find the answer to all your questions by checking the FAQ section. Here you can find everything you need for general queries, but if you do need to speak to someone about your particular order, or something a little more in-depth, you can either call or email. Of course, you can also call into any store and enquire regarding any issues you have.

Of course, you can also email via the website. You simply fill in the submission form and wait for an advisor to email you back directly. You will normally hear from someone within around 24 hours.
Burton UK’s Regular Offers
Burtons offer a student discount of 10% off everything, as well as a military discount of the same amount. This is great for making a big saving on a large shop! There is also a Try Now Pay Later offer you can use, which gives you 30 days to decide whether you want to keep your order, and if you don’t want it, you simply send it back without having to pay. There is another offer called Slice It. This has replaced the buy now pay later option, and basically allows you to order 60 pounds or more in on go and then cut the amount into three equal payments, making shopping more affordable.
Burtons also have a dedicated credit card which you can use to make purchases online and in store, and spread the cost as you see fit. This is subject to a credit check however.
Currently Burtons have a 30% off selected lines sale on offer.
Delivery & Returns Policies
There are several delivery options available to you, and you can also arrange for your delivery to be sent to your nearest Burton’s store for free. If you choose this option, your order will arrive between 3-7 days later. You can have your item a little sooner in this way, but you will pay 5.95 and you need to place your order before 9pm on a weekday and before 5pm on a Sunday. This will ensure your order is ready for collection the next working day, before 12pm.
If you want your order delivered to your home, you can choose the UK standard delivery option, which takes up to 4 working days, and is free for orders over 30 pounds. For orders under this amount you simply pay 3.95. The express or nominated delivery service costs 5.95 and you will need to order by 9pm on a weekday and before 5pm on a Sunday to nominate the day you want the order to be delivered, i.e. the next working day.
Returns are quick and easy. You simply need to package up your item and attach the returns label which is included in your delivery. You then return via Royal Mail or via a MyHermes Parcel Shop. You can also take your returns into any Burton’s store also.
How to Redeem Vouchers & Discounts
Your discount will be automatically deducted at the check out point. If you are using a gift card, or if you have a discount voucher to use, you simply enter the code into the ‘redeem code’ box and your amount will be recalculated.
